Ingredients of Tangra Macher Jhal Chochori Recipe: 1) Tangra Fish. 2) Chopped Tomato. 3) Sliced Onions. 4) Sliced Potato. 5) Sliced Radish. 6) Ginger Garlic Paste. 7) Green Chilli Paste. 8) Salt, Sugar, Black Cumin Seeds, Cumin Powder, Mustard Oil, Dry Red Chilli. 9) Red Chili Powder. 10) Bay Leaves.

Method of How to Make Bengali Fish Curry Tangra Macher Jhal Recipe: Step 1 – Marinate the Fish with 1 Tsp Turmeric powder and half Tsp Salt.. Step 2 – Add Mustard Oil on Hot Pan. Step 3 – Heat the Mustard Oil and Fry the Fish. Step 4 – Again heat the oil. Add Bay Leaves, half Tsp Black Cumin Seeds, 1 Pcs Dry Red Chili. Step 5 – Now add sliced onions. Step 6 – Now add chopped tomato. Mix it well and cook for 5 minutes. Step 7 – Add ginger garlic Paste. Step 8 – Add Garlic Paste. Mix it well. Step 9 – Add half tsp turmeric powder, half tsp cumin powder, half tsp red Chilli powder and mix it well. Step 10 – Add some sugar. Also add salt as per your taste. Add some water and mix it well. Cook for 2 minutes. Step 11 – Add green chilli paste, fried sliced potato and sliced radish. Cook for 5 minutes with low flame and close the lid. Step 12 – Open the lid and add finally Tangra Fish. Step 13 – Again low the flame and cook for 3 minutes. Step 14 – Add some coriander leaves. Again close the lid, low the flame and cook for 5 minutes.
